The A20 Ashford Road, Maidstone remains closed in both directions after a lorry crashed into a wall.

Police were called just before 9.40am today and the road has been shut since 10am.

The road between Willington Street and New Cut Road is not accessible while a highways team deals with a fuel spillage and the lorry is recovered.

Drivers are being advised to seek alternative routes. Officers are still at the scene, but no injuries have been reported.

Traffic is said to be moving well around the closure.
