Heavy delays are being experienced after a lorry fire in Maidstone.

Emergency services raced to Loose Road after the vehicle's engine went up in flames at midday near the junction with Sutton Road.

Police and the fire service dealt with the incident and have since left the scene but traffic remains heavy while the HGV awaits recovery.
