Delays on the M20 have cleared after an accident involving two lorries and a car.

Two lanes were closed on the London bound carriageway between junction 5 for Aylesford and junction 4 for Snodland.

At its worst, congestion stretched back to junction 6.

All lanes have since reopened.

A KCC Highways spokesman said: "All lanes have re-opened after an earlier crash on the M20 involving two cars. Delays are clearing on the M20.

"Long delays remain on the A20 London Road between Coldharbour and Lunsford Lane and on Hermitage Lane and Station Road."

Kent Police was called to the incident at about midday.

No injuries have been reported.

Highways officers are at the scene dealing with the incident.
