A lane of the M20 was closed after a crash this morning.

The accident, which involved a car and a lorry, happened in the Londonbound carriageway between J9 for Ashford and J8 for Leeds.

Police were called at 7.38am and a lane was closed while debris was cleared.

The road is now open.

No injuries were reported.
