A multi-vehicle crash caused long delays for motorists on the M20.

The pile-up happened on the coastbound carriageway, between Junction 6 for Blue Bell Hill and Junction 7 for Blue Bell, just before 6pm yesterday.

Two lanes were closed and tailbacks were soon back to Junction 5 for Aylesford.

The whole carriageway reopened at about 7.50pm.
