Motorists have been suffering severe delays in Kent today after a crash on the M25.

One man has been injured after three lorries and a car were involved in a smash on the clockwise carriageway.

It happened between Clacket Lane services and J6 for Godstone at about 8.40am.

The accident left the clockwise carriageway blocked until one lane was reopened at about 10.45am.

Queues stretched back to half-a-mile past the Sevenoaks junction on the M26.

Police closed the west-bound carriageway of the M26 for a short time to hold back traffic from the M25 congestion.
