Maidstone chairman Paul Bowden-Brown has allayed fears the club could face a financial crisis as they face a run of more than six weeks with no scheduled home games.
The club last played at their temporary home at Ashford against Aveley on Tuesday, September 22 and don’t have another scheduled game at Homelands until the Ryman League Premier Division clash with Kingstonian on November 7.
After Saturday’s FA Cup second qualifying round win at Harefield, Stones face another away tie at Blue Square South Woking on October 10 and will also be on the road for an FA Trophy tie the following Saturday.
However, Mr Bowden-Brown (pictured) said he was ‘not particularly worried’ about the run.
He said: "At the start of the season I always budget for an average of two home games a month but we have £7,500 in cup prize money coming from the FA which should compensate.
"We do not budget for cup games so it is a bonus. We also get a share of the away cup gates within 21 days which also helps."
