Maidstone (red and white) lost again in London 1 South after a 29-19 home defeat to Wimbledon
Maidstone remain rooted to the foot of London 1 South as they lost for the fifth game in a row, going down 29-19 against Wimbledon at the Mote.
Things started well for the hosts as Peter Horne kicked three penalties to put Maidstone into an early lead but Wimbledon scored two quick tries to take the lead.
Maidstone hit back just before half-time when Jack Lamb touched down and with a lead at the break, it looked as though the Stones may finally break their winning duck.
The Dons had other ideas, though, scoring two more tries and despite another penalty from Horne, the visitors added another score late on.
