Maidstone Swimming Club hosted their fifth annual Licensed Open Gala at Mote Park on Sunday.
Some 250 swimmers from the South East and London took part, seeking personal landmarks and regional qualification times.
The hosts finished second in the honours stakes to Black Lion. Orpington were third.
Representing Maidstone, Paige Marshall was first in the open 50m butterfly, 50m freestyle and 100m backstroke and second in the open 100m individual medley and 100m butterfly.
Other winners included Oliver Jenkins in the men’s 16+ 100m freestyle and 100m backstroke. He was second in the open 50m backstroke, and open 100m individual medley and third in the open 50m butterfly.
Amber Gibbs was first in the girls’ 11yr 50m breaststroke and Hayley Maulden won the girls’ 12yr 100m butterfly.
Larkfield Swimming Club were also well represented. Nick Rowe came first in the open 50m butterfly and second in the men’s 16+ 100m butterfly
Tariq Shahabdeen won the boys' 11yr 50m backstroke and 50m breaststroke and was second in the 11yr freestyle.
Nelson Sinclair-Strong was first in the boys’ 12yr 100m butterfly and second in the 100m freestyle. Siobhan Sinclair-Strong won the girls' 9/10yr 50m breaststroke, Lauren Gilchrist came second in the girls' 13yr 100m breaststroke and George Whiley took third in the open backstroke.
