Midfielders Sam Bewick and Michael Phillips have agreed new one-year deals with Maidstone as boss Jay Saunders continues to build for next season.
Former QPR youngster Bewick made 49 appearances last season after joining on dual registration from Tonbridge Angels but has made the move permanent, rejecting offers from clubs higher in the pyramid.
The 19-year-old proved a big favourite with the fans last season, finishing runner-up in the supporters’ player-of the year voting.
Saunders (pictured) said: "Sam was keen to stay and wanted to sign. He had a good season, has bundles of energy and lots of potential. I can see him playing at right-back or right midfield in time. His versatility is a big thing.
"He is the first one at training, gets on with it and wants to play."
Phillips missed the last two months of the season after suffering a knee injury in late February.
Saunders added: "Michael had a knee injury last season and we thought he had suffered cruciate damage.
"Fortunately the scans showed it was badly sprained and bruised. He is great to have around the place, has got plenty of experience and is still a good age."
