Maidstone joint-boss Lloyd Hume says striker Danny Hockton is ready for Blue Square Premier Histon on Saturday after opening his account for his new club.
Hockton netted his first Stones goal in last Saturday’s 2-2 draw at Tooting, and Hume (pictured) said: "I expect his confidence to rise after that.
"Danny has been unfortunate not to have scored three or four already.
"He has done well with chances but they have either gone just wide or the keeper has made a great save."
Maidstone, who welcome Histon to Homelands in the first round of the FA Trophy on Saturday, will be without Tom Parkinson (hamstring) and Ashley Ulph (knee).
