Maidstone boss Jay Saunders has agreed the signings of three players from Blue Square Bet South clubs to boost his squad for their homecoming season.

Saunders (pictured) has already added strikers Paul Booth and Ian Draycott as Stones look to mount a challenge in Ryman League, Division 1 South next term.

Saunders said: "I have agreed to sign three more in different positions. I’m just waiting for them to get back from holiday to sign the paperwork.

"It’s going to give me some tough decisions next season because we’re going to have a lot of depth and I’ll have to try and keep everyone happy."

He added: "I’m just looking for a centre-half now to complete the picture. I’m talking to a couple of people and we’ll see what we can sort out."
