Maidstone United manager Jay Saunders is pleased with how his squad is shaping up ahead of the new season.
Strikers Paul Booth, pictured, and Ian Draycott signed from Ryman League Premier Division side Lewes this week and Saunders said he was pleased with the added strength in depth they would give the Stones.
Booth, 35, netted 18 goals last season and Saunders said: "I have known Boothy for years. He’s experienced and his scoring record speaks for itself. He is strong, good in the air and he can finish."
Saunders said of 23-year-old Draycott: "I tried to sign Draycott last year, but he wanted to play at a higher level. He gives us some options to change things. With Shaun Welford and Alex Waugh staying, we are pretty much there."
Alex Flisher is the 12th player to commit to Stones, with Saunders adding: "I’m delighted. It was my priority to get the lads from last season sorted. I’m not sure what one or two are doing.
"Baff Addae is looking at options and Ellis Green is seeing if he can get something closer to home (London)."
Saunders revealed he is waiting to hear about his chances of keeping hold of goalkeeper John Whitehouse, who finished the season with the Stones on loan from Welling, and he is also in the market for a centre-back and a midfielder.
