Police officers have arrested two people on suspicion of theft of a car in Maidstone.

Officers who had stopped the car on the Detling Hill at around 11.45pm on Tuesday 12 July 2017, arrested a 40-year-old man on suspicion of burglary, theft of a car and driving whilst unfit through drugs.

A 31-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of theft of a car, burglary and possession of Class A and Class B drugs.

They both remain in police custody and inquiries are on-going.
