A man has been arrested following a crash which left a biker in hospital.
The accident, involving a silver Vauxhall Movano van and a grey Italjet motorbike, happened on the M20, near Maidstone, on Wednesday, July 12.
Police officers and paramedics attended the scene but the van had left before they arrived.
The motorcyclist was taken to hospital for treatment after he sustained leg and arm injuries. He has since been discharged.
Later the same day, a 59-year-old man from Ashford was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving. He was bailed to return to the police station pending further inquiries.
Officers are now appealing for information following the incident on the slip road at junction 8 as it approaches the westbound carriageway, at around 8.20am.
PC Rachel Burley, of the roads policing unit, said: “Before the collision, both vehicles are understood to have travelled along the A20 from the direction of Harrietsham towards the M20.
“We have been investigating the incident and are now urging witnesses and anyone with relevant dashcam footage to contact us.”
