Police have launched an investigation following reports of a man exposing himself while on top of a moving van.

Officers were called yesterday shortly before 5pm after a van was spotted driving on the M20 near West Malling with somebody on top.

They are now appealing for witnesses to the incident.

A spokesman said: "Officers are investigating a report of dangerous driving and indecent exposure on the M20.

"It was reported at 4.50pm on Friday that a dark coloured Vauxhall Vivaro van was seen driving along the coast bound carriageway between junctions 4 and 5 near West Malling with a man seen on the roof of the van.

"Officers have made contact with the owner of the vehicle and the man seen on the roof and continue to make inquiries."
