A 25-year-old man who police believe carried out a string of burglaries in Maidstone has been charged.

Atkinjoe Izuebe, of no fixed address, was arrested on Monday and subsequently charged with burglaries in Sussex Road and Bell Meadow on Tuesday, January 9, Willow Way and Plains Avenue on Wednesday, January 10, Linton Road and Copper Tree Court on Wednesday, January 24 and Park Way on Monday, January 29.

He was also charged with a burglary and an attempted burglary in Orpington on Tuesday, January 16.

Mr Izuebe has been remanded in custody to appear by video link before Medway Magistrates’ Court today.
