Man charged with assaulting a police officer outside Source Bar, in Rose Yard, Maidstone

A man has been charged with assaulting a police officer outside a Maidstone nightclub.

Tony Goldsmith, of Beaumont Road, was arrested at 11pm on Friday, after an incident in Rose Yard, near to the entrance of Source Bar.

The 24-year-old has been released on bail until he is due to appear before magistrates in July.
