Man cut free from car after crash in Barming

A man had to be cut free from his car after a crash in Barming this morning.

Firefighters used hydraulic cutting equipment to release the man trapped in a vehicle after the smash in Glebe Lane at about 8.30am.

Paramedics took him to hospital, but the extent of his injuries is not known.

The crash closed the road in both directions.

Two crews from Kent Fire and Rescue Service had been at the scene.
