A 25-year-old man denied committing sex attacks on a woman in Maidstone when he appeared at the town's Crown Court today.

Mateusz Sura, of Tiverton Road, Tottenham, north London, is accused of five charges of rape and one of sexual assault.

The offences are alleged to have happened in Wallis Avenue on December 12.

Sura, who appeared by video link with Thameside Prison in Thamesmead, south east London, with the help of a Polish interpreter, will stand trial on May 30.

He was remanded in custody.
