A man has died after a crash between two cars.

A Vauxhall Corsa and a Volvo collided on the B2079 Bedgebury Road, Goudhurst, near Bedgebury School at 8am today.

The man driving the Corsa suffering fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. His family has been informed.

The male driver of the Volvo was taken to hospital with less serious injuries.

Kent Fire and Rescue Service assisted with releasing the drivers from the vehicles.

The road is currently closed while emergency services continue to deal with the incident. No further information about the deceased has been released at this time.
