A man has died after being severely burned in a fire in Snodland.

Firefighters and police were called to a fire in some trees and undergrowth near Coombe Close, Snodland, at about 3.10am on Tuesday, March 16.

A 35 year old man was taken to hospital with serious burns to his legs and back. He died of his injuries later that day.

The man has not been named by police, but a spokesman said his next of kin had been informed.
