A middle-aged man sprayed his former partner with blood during an hour-long rampage in which he also trashed her home.
Philip Moorekite caused £3000 of damage to Carina Moorkite’s East Farleigh home in May.
The pair separated in November but remained in contact.
Moorekite, who appeared at Maidstone Magistrates’ Court last week, went to the Lower Road home to return the family dog.
Katie Samways, prosecuting, said the 46-year-old had been drinking and had a bottle of red wine on him.
“He was argumentative when she asked him to leave he pushed her to the face and began swearing at her. He became aggressive and wouldn’t leave," she added.

The court heard Moorekite, who suffers from mental health issues, told his ex-partner to call the police.
When she refused he launched the phone at her face, cutting her nose, and began smashing windows and expensive electrical items.
Miss Samways said: “Ms Moorekite and her 15-year-old daughter left and went to a neighbour’s because they were scared.
"She returned after a little while to find her ex-partner had broken the door and was smashing items.”
Moorekite, now of St Andrews Road, Barming, cut his hand causing blood to splatter over the terrified mother’s face and told her, “this is blood for you”.
The graphic designer originally denied charges of criminal damage and assault but later changed his plea.
In a victim impact statement read to the court, Ms Moorekite said: “This has terrified us. I still find blood splashes in obscure places.
"My daughter won’t stay home alone, I have to check under beds and behind doors to show her he’s not there."
Appearing unrepresented, Moorekite said: “I am sorry for it, really for the problems and upset I’ve caused. I am disgusted by my behaviour."
Magistrates handed him an 18 month community order with a 40 day rehabilitation requirement.
By committing this offence Moorekite breached a conditional discharge imposed previously, which has now been renewed for a further 18 months.
He must also pay £85 costs, £60 victim surcharge, £150 criminal courts charge and £3000 compensation.
The bench also issued a restraining order restricting him from contacting Mrs Moorekite or her daughter.
