A MAN accused of a serious attack in Maidstone on deputy Imam Arshed Mahmood has appeared at Maidstone Crown Court.

Richard Wallace is charged with causing Mr Mahmood grievous bodily harm with intent on August 21.

Wallace, of Verney Road, Rotherhithe, South East London, has indicated that he will deny the charge when he returns to court on November 14. He was granted bail.
