A man has been taken to hospital after a van and a bicycle crashed in Maidstone.

Police and ambulance crews were called to Sutton Road shortly before 7am.

There were rush hour delays in the area, but traffic had cleared by 8.30am.

A man in his 40s was treated at the scene before being taken to Maidstone Hospital.
