A man died in hospital after a crash involving a car and a pick-up truck in Pilgrims Way at Westerham.

A silver Ford Ranger and a green Daewoo Lanos collided at the crossroads with Westerham Hill at around 6.20am Friday.

The driver of the Daewoo suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at hospital in Farnborough.

A police spokesman confirmed the victim was from the local area but no other details have yet been released.

Roads in the area were closed after the crash for initial investigations to take place.
