A MAN has been arrested in connection with a serious sexual assault which took place on the towpath behind Maidstone Crown Court, in the early hours of Wednesday, June 8.

The 22-year-old Maidstone man is currently being interviewed at an undisclosed police station.

A 19-year-old girl was attacked shortly after she left a nightclub at the Lockmeadow Entertainment Complex in Barker Road.
