A man arrested in the wake of an armed raid last week has been released.
Armed police descended on flats in The Broadway, Maidstone last Thursday amid reports a weapon was seen inside a home.
A 26-year-old man from Essex was arrested at the scene and taken into custody.
Kent Police confirmed today he had been released without charge.
No weapon was found at the scene.
