Police are investigating a town centre disturbance after a man suffered several facial injuries.

Officers were called to Bank Street, Maidstone, at around 1.40am on Sunday where a man was found to be in need of treatment.

He was taken to a nearby hospital and treated by doctors.

Detectives are still working out what happened in the moments leading up to the incident and have made no arrests.
