A man is in hospital after a two-car crash on Seven Mile Lane (A228) this morning.

Emergency crews were called to the scene near the A26 junction at 10.45am

The incident involve a lorry and a Ford Fiesta car and led to the road being blocked.

The injured man is not believed to be in a serious condition. Officers left the scene at around 12.45pm.
