A man was taken to a London hospital after a serious fall at home.

The accident happened at 4.40pm in Maidstone yesterday, and ambulance crews and paramedics from Kent, Surrey and Sussex Air Ambulance (SECAmb) were called to the scene.

He was taken to King's College Hospital with chest and abdominal injuries.

SECAmb were unable to provide further details of the accident, as it happened at a private address.
