A man arrested by plain clothes police officers in Maidstone is facing drug charges.

Stephen Lobb, 45, of Holland Road in Maidstone was arrested near his home at 2.40pm on Wednesday, January 18.

Officer seized £170 cash and two mobile phones, while a subsequent raid on his home saw officers discover a substance thought to be heroin.

He was subsequently charged with possession of heroin with intent to supply and was remanded to appear before Maidstone Magistrates' Court on Saturday, January 20.
