Masked robbers raid office in Marden

A man was injured after two masked robbers burst into his office and attacked him.

The pair entered the business in Sheepshurst Lane, Marden and punched the worker several times before hitting him with a glass bottle.

They then swiped cash and fled, leaving the victim - aged in his 60s - with bruising and swelling to his face and hand.

One of the men was 25 to 35 years old, 5ft 8in to 6ft and of slim build. He was wearing a black padded coat with a hood, black trousers, trainers and gloves.

The second was white, 25 to 35 years old, shorter than the other suspect and of slim build. He was wearing a black coat, trousers, gloves and white trainers.

Police are now appealing for witnesses to the raid, which happened at 7.45pm on Friday, October 13.

They also want to speak to a man who was seen near the business on the day who may have information.

He was white, in his late 30s and slim with blond fair hair. He was wearing camouflage trousers and a waistcoat.
