Police descended on a Maidstone estate on Sunday evening following a robbery earlier that day.

Five vehicles parked in the Woolley Road dip, Senacre, at 5.45pm with more than a dozen officers attending flats on the Shepway side of Willington Street.

A Kent Police spokesman said: “We attended in connection with a reported robbery in Cambridge Crescent, Shepway, at 7am the same day. No arrests were made and enquiries are on-going.”

No further details were provided in relation to the alleged robbery.
