Firefighters pulled up at a McDonald's restaurants overnight as high winds battered the county.
Three fire engines, including a height vehicle, were called to the fast-food franchise in Broadway, Maidstone, just after 12.30am.
Using the height vehicle, firefighters went on to the restaurant's roof and brought the spikes, which are used to stop birds nesting, to ground level.
Crews left the scene just after 1.10am.
The restaurant was open for business as usual this morning.
Meanwhile, commuters were given a glimpse of the carnage caused by the storm after a train pulled up at Maidstone East Station with a tree wedged between the carriage and the tracks.
