Two men have been arrested on suspicion of handling stolen goods.

It follows a police raid on a property in Harrietsham on Monday afternoon.

Officers served warrants to carry out a search of the property in Hogbarn Lane at about 3.30pm.

They seized 11 items of plant machinery, which is believed to have been stolen, including diggers and excavators used in the building trade.

A 61-year-old man was arrested yesterday and a 51-year-old man was arrested today on suspicion of handling stolen goods.

Both men remain in custody at Maidstone Police Station for questioning.
