The Military Wives will perform Gary Barlow’s jubilee single at Leeds Castle this summer.

The chart topping group have signed up to appear at the Open Air Classical Concert on Saturday, July 14.

The choir will treat crowds to a rendition of Sing, a track which has been produced by the Take That frontman and theatre composer Lord Andrew Lloyd Webber in celebration of the Queen’s 60th anniversary.

The wives appear on the finished single with the heartthrob producer and singers from across the Commonwealth. Prince Harry contributed to the song by playing the tambourine.

They join the castle’ programme of fireworks, tenor Wynne Evans, international soprano Claire Rutter and the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, conducted by John Rigby.

Tickets to the concert are £34 for the picnic area or £44 for a seat.

The grounds open at 4pm with live music from 5pm and the main concert will start at 7.30pm.
