A popular mini golf in a town centre is re-opening after a revamp.

Mote Park Outdoor Adventure in Maidstone will be welcoming guests again just in time for the summer holidays after closing for eight weeks for a mega expansion.

The adventure zone includes a mini golf course, climbing wall, sky rope trail and Segway riding.

Mini Dino Golf celebrates the town’s favourite resident, “Iggy” the iguanodon, who also has a statue on a grass verge in Ashford Road.

The course has doubled in size from nine holes to a 18 holes of dinosaur fun.

A spokesperson said: “Keeping within the adventure theme, the new course comes complete with a full-sized jeep, dino theme and resurfacing.

“This is a significant project for Mote Park Outdoor Adventure, which means there will inevitably be a delay to our normal seasonal opening.”

All facilities will be open from July 24.
