Emergency services were called to a busy stretch of road near Maidstone this evening following a collision.

Police were called at 4.38pm to reports of an accident involving a motorcyclist and a car on A274 Sutton Road, near Northumberland Road, Maidstone.

The incident partially blocked the road during rush hour traffic but was clear by 6pm.

No serious injuries were reported.
