One lane of the M20 was closed after a crash between a car and a lorry this afternoon.

Emergency services were sent to the scene of the collision on the coast bound carriageway between junction 8 for Leeds and 9 for Ashford.

It happened at around 4pm.

It is not yet known if anyone has been injured

Police were approached for comment.
