Traffic is moving slowly on the coastbound section of the M20 this afternoon following a two-vehicle crash.

The collision, involving a car and a lorry, happened just after 3.30pm between junction 6 for Maidstone and Chatham and junction 7 for Maidstone, Detling and the A249 towards Sittingbourne and Sheerness.

The road was closed temporarily to allow the vehicles to be removed but has now reopened.

Kent County Council's Highways department has advised drivers that delays should start to clear soon.

Police said no injuries have been reported.
