A woman has been detained under the Mental Health Act on a motorway bridge.

Police were called to the London-bound carriageway of the M20 at junction 5 for Aylesford at 3pm, following concerns about her welfare.

An eyewitness said a woman climbed over the railings.

A rolling road-block was put in place and the road reopened at around 3.40pm.
