Motorway closures have been lifted following repairs after a lorry ploughed through a safety barrier.
The closed sections were the M26 eastbound between the M25/A21 and junction 2A, the M25 clockwise within junction 5, the link road from the M25 junction 5 anti-clockwise to the A21 southbound and the link road from the M25 junction 5 anti-clockwise to M26/A21.
The M25 junction 5 clockwise and M26 coastbound access from the M25 were fully opened at around 2.20pm.
Recovery vehicles remained at the scene and huge queues stretching more than four miles coastbound on the M26 built up.
The road was closed during rush hour as Highways England carried out repairs to the damaged barrier.
A diversion route was also put in place on the M25 clockwise to take drivers via the A25 to rejoin the motorway at junction 26.
Fortunately there were no injuries.
