A well known artist famous for creating the Mr Monopoly character has turned his attention to Kent’s breweries.
Peter Gander has created a map of the county’s ale producers to help promote the Kent Green Hop Beer Fortnight.
The former London ad man's distinctive style is usually associated with tea towels and greetings cards.
Breweries including Maidstone's Goachers, in Tovil, and Musket Brewery, in Linton, West Malling's Kent Brewery, Tonbridge Brewery, Whitstable Brewery, in Grafty Green, and Pig & Porter, in Tunbridge Wells, are plotted on the map.
The map will feature on a souvenir leaflet released for this year's two-week celebration of seasonal beer, which kicks off at the Canterbury Food & Drink Festival on Friday, September 26.
Mr Gander, who created the much loved board game's iconic mascot 30 years ago, said: "This is my dream job, combining two great passions of mine - local microbrewers’ beers and hand-drawn maps. It seriously doesn’t get any better than that.”
Mr Gander is no stranger to the beer industry, designing logos for local CAMRA beer festivals in the 1980s and 1990s.
Kent Green Hop Beer Fortnight is an annual event involving almost every brewery in the county.
Instead of using dried hops, fresh hops are collected from growers and rushed to breweries as quickly as possible.
The fortnight concludes with the East Kent Brewery Open Days on Sunday, October 12.
