POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a boy of 15 was robbed as he walked along an alleyway.
The victim has told police that another boy of slim but muscular build came running towards him and threatened him with what is described as a large nail which was light grey in colour.
As demanded, the boy handed over his mobile phone and the robber, described as white and aged between 15 to 17, ran off.
The incident happened at about 4.15pm on Tuesday, September 12, in an alley between Titchfield Road and Gore Court Road, Maidstone.
The robber was wearing a white hooded tracksuit top with a black top underneath covering his face. He was about 5ft 5ins tall.
