Part of a village will be closed to through traffic on Wednesday while KCC Highways carries out carriageway repairs.

The Green at Bearsted will be shut while The Street will remain open.

The village is already experiencing other road closures as a result of gas main replacement works.

Tower Lane is expected to remain closed from the junction with Roseacre Lane to outside Tower House, until Monday, December 5.

Plantation Lane is closed from Roseacre Lane junction to outside number 38, until December 12.

And The Grove is closed from its junction with Roseacre Lane for its entire length, until December 12.
