Motorists were told to expect delays on the A229 just on the entry to Maidstone.

An HGV was involved in a collision with a car on the Springfield roundabout on Royal Engineers Road. One man has been injured.

Emergency services attended and KCC has been called to deal with an oil spillage.

A partial road closure was put in place. The accident happened at 11.45am.

The road has been reopened.
