There were delays to a busy Maidstone road after two cars were involved in an accident on Linton Hill.

One lane was blocked on the road, at the junction with Heath Road.

Emergency services were called to the scene at around 12pm, after reports one car had been hit from behind by another.

South east coast ambulance service transported one man, aged 22, to the Tunbridge Wells hospital with suspected whiplash.

No other injuries were reported.
