The A229 Loose Road - one of the busiest roads in Maidstone - is to be closed to through traffic next month.
The overnight closure will begin at 7pm on Thursday, April 15, and should be lifted by 6am the following day, but Kent Highways warns that the closure may be extended if necessary.
The closure - in both directions - is to enable Souther Water to carry out repair works and will be in the vicinity of No 517 Loose Road.
Traffic will be diverted from the Wheatsheaf junction, along the A274 Sutton Road, along the B2163 Plough Wents Road and Heath Road, and back to the A229 at the Linton Crossroads, and vice versa.
