Overnight closures on A249 and M20 near Maidstone

A number of key routes around Maidstone are to be shut overnight this week.

All the closures will run from 8pm to 6am until Saturday, starting today.

The A249 will be shut Maidstone-bound between the Key Street Roundabout and Stockbury turn off, at Honeycrock Hill due to roadworks. A signed diversion will be in place via Chesnut Street, the A2 and B2005.

On the M20 there will be a lane closed coast-bound between Junction 7 for Detling abd Junction 8 for Leeds.

London-bound the motorway will be shut between Junction 6 for Blue Bell Hill and Junction 5 for Aylesford.

Diversions will be in place via the A229, M2 and A228.
